Fasting- Ways to Body and Mind

Fasting- Ways to Body and Mind

Last spring, I did a 42-day fast (fasting). It was the longest fast I've ever done, although I used both water and juicing. The first 3-4 days were pretty tough, with bad moods, headaches, tiredness, and irritability as the accumulated toxins were released from the body, but after a week, I felt better, my head was clear, I was less attached to eating, and I felt energetic and my thinking became more positive. This year, I am planning to do the 40-day fast again starting February 25, and I do the Intermittent Fasting Method for a few days (fasting for 16 hours out of 24 hours a day, and eating within 8 hours) prior to water fasting as a preparation period. I fast twice a year (in March and September) as a way to reset my body and mind. Today, I did some research on the benefits of fasting. I remember seeing a video on Netflix about how fasting promotes the immune system. It was a video that was used in a research experiment to study the difference in the aftereffects of patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer who fasted two days prior to the treatment and those who did not fast at all. In fact, according to the testimonies of the subjects who participated in the study, the aftereffects were much milder. (Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, and general malaise were the side effect of chemotherapy.) A study conducted by Valter Longo of the University of Southern California's Institute for Longevity Research confirms that fasting for 24 to 128 hours regenerates the entire immune system. This is applicable to the elderly as well, he said. What struck me here is that the physiological changes caused by this fasting method are much more pronounced than those caused by calorie restriction or fasting for less than 24 hours. One of the reasons for this, he said, is that after glycogen stores are depleted, a complete switch to fat and ketone body-based catabolism is required. The subjects who participated in Longo's study fasted for two to four days every six months. The analysis showed that fasting contributed to a reduction in PKA (protein kinase A), an enzyme associated with the risk of aging and tumor growth. By not eating, the cells are stimulated to produce new white blood cells. White blood cells protect the body against foreign substances entering the body. When foreign substances, such as bacteria, invade the body, the white blood cell count increases and the cells take in the foreign substance and render it harmless. According to Longo, during fasting, the body releases damaged, aged and unwanted cells. This is probably because the body is trying to conserve energy. We can better understand the importance of this effect when we consider the bodies of the elderly and those undergoing chemotherapy. He discovered that fasting activates stem cells. Stem cells regenerate immune cells, prevent chemotherapy-induced immunosuppression, and refresh the immune system, as shown in mouse experiments. Fasting can also be helpful for healthy bodies to improve their health. There is no evidence whatsoever that abstaining from food for a few days is harmful to the human body. On the other hand, there are strong assurances that it will bring notable benefits, he said. I would like to advise you that some people misunderstand fasting as a way to lose weight, but I personally do it as a way to detoxify my body and mind. Fasting for more than 5 days can be very hard on the body, and it is very dangerous to do it on your own. I would suggest a period of 7 days with a light easy-digestion meals, such as vegetarian food, rice porridge, before and after the water-only fast. I think it is important to understand your current condition both body and mind and any pre-existing medical conditions before you consider. Today's blog is my personal view on fasting, incorporating my past experiences and articles that I refer to. The best way to fast is to develop your own way of fasting, with your own personal thoughts and notions. 😊.

Try DeepL Pro
Blessing of the Energy Centers" は、約45分です。

Pursuit of Happiness - Alpha level of Mind by Jose Silva

Pursuit of Happiness - Alpha level of Mind by Jose Silva

It was in the '90s, I was in search of happiness and self-improvement and wanted to know how I could achieve a dream life I imagined. I came across a meditation technique called the Alpha level of mind by Jose Silva. I purchased the tapes, read his books, "You the Healer" and "The Silva Mind Control Method". Jose Silva developed the Silva Method in the 1950s. It's a method of putting yourself into a relaxed frame of mind, and then using that relaxation for useful purposes like improving your self-image, finding solutions to problems, increasing your ability to accomplish goals, improving your relationships with others, and getting better grades at school and more. The Silva Method is pretty simple and straightforward. Settle in a comfortable position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath. While you're breathing out, you imagine seeing the number "3" in front of you. Then you do the same with "2" and "1." You will hear a tapping sound in the background that helps your brainwave transition from Beta to alpha level, which is a relaxed state. Our brain function on a small amount of electricity, much like a computer. This electrical current vibrates, pulses, at various speeds. When you are wide awake, your brain vibrates 20 times per second—what scientists call the Beta frequency. When you go to sleep, your brain frequency slows down, all the way to about half a cycle per second in the deepest levels of natural sleep. It is known as the Delta level. In between Beta, the waking state, and Delta the deep sleep state, there are two other mental activity levels. When you are in a light level of sleep or meditation, you are in the Alpha range, 7 to 14 cycles per second. Going to the alpha level or centering is the same as meditating. When we meditate, scientifically, our brain wave frequency changes to Alpha. The Alpha level is the level we use to activate our minds. StateCycles Per SecondsAssociated With

Beta14-21 Waking State, The Five Senses, Perception of time and space Alpha7-14 Light Sleep, Meditation, Intuition, no time & space limitations. Theta4-7 Deep Sleep. Meditation. Delta0.5-4 Deep Sleep. You are unconscious at Delta. There are many benefits of "going to the alpha level" or meditating. Jose Silva found that people who can remain in the alpha level while analyzing information have access to more information than those who stay in Beta to do their thinking. Surges of intuition, creative ideas, and inspirational thoughts and come to people while at this alpha level. Going to Alpha is also useful for programming your mind. At the alpha level, you can become solution-oriented rather than problem-oriented, benefit from easing conditions such as insomnia, tension, and migraine headaches, bad habits, etc. You can also program your mind to help you achieve your goals and make your dreams come true. The Silva Method Seminars hold the secret of unleashing the Powers of Your Mind by helping you to develop the ability to function consciously at the Alpha Level. The yogi's, gurus, masters know this. Alpha is the level for: Healing Intuition Creative Manifestation Heightened Empathy and Compassion Releasing Stress I found this Alpha sounds very soothing and relaxing. Enjoy the Alpha level of mind !!

Meditation- To become aware of how we think

Meditation- To become aware of how we think

Today, I am refreshing and sanding an outdated door of my home. I apply my meditation practice everything I do now. For some people, they say, walking in nature, gardening in your yard, painting & fishing are meditative. I incorporate meditation into the house projects too. Meditation practice for me is to become aware of how I feel and think. It helps me to focus & be mindful of whatever I am doing and feeling at the moment. I started meditating about 30 years ago in the late '80s, there was not much of the resources and materials available about meditations then. When I started practicing yoga, that is when I learned it was common practice with yoga was to meditate. Before I got to know people who practiced yoga, most of my friends would look at me as I was a crazy hippie or a person from out of space when I mention that I meditated😆!!

Here are the products you may enjoy. Click here to see 😀😀 It is a good age now that more and more educators, such as Dr. Depok Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Abraham Hicks, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., Greg Bradon, and more teachers have come forward to introduced so many aspects and benefits of meditations from their scientific background, the reasons why meditation would benefit us, physiologically and psychologically. The information is so readily available now by technology. We have so many choices to pick from various options for healing our body and mind.

My starter of self-discovery that lead me to meditation practice was when I came across a book called " You can heal your life" published in1984 by Ms. Louis Hay (1926-2017), who was a founder of the Hay House book publishing company.

Ms. Luis Hay brought me an upbeat message with a metaphysical underpinning. She wrote that there is a link between thoughts and disease and life’s other misfortunes, and she urged people to find a positive way to spin even the worst of them.

Please click here for books by Louis Hay

Ms. Hay became an early example of self-improvement gospel that has sprung up over the last several decades. Few women have sold more books, and Hay House, which she started in her living room in the mid-1980s, has grown into a multimillion-dollar company handling a long roster of authors and an extensive line of products, including books, and online courses. The company also has staged lectures and workshops featuring its authors, such as Dr. Wayne Dyer and Dr. Joe Vatile

I am in awe of having a chance to come across teachers such as Ms. Hay who taught me infinite possibilities and potentialities of human beings by using our thoughts and mind to create our lives the way we want. It taught me that we all are not a victim of life, we are the creator of life. This introduction to her book made me a very important evolutional step in my 20's to go further study our minds and thoughts collaboration with our bodies.

On my next blog, I will talk about the type of meditation method that worked for me to relax my mind more so than other meditation methods. It is called " Alpha brain level of mind by Jose Silva" So, stay tuned in !! 😀😀

I am the Placebo-Teaching of Dr. Joe Dispenza (English version-

I am the Placebo-Teaching of Dr. Joe Dispenza (English version-

I first came across this book about two years ago when a friend of mine (she was a student of mine at the gym) at the Kadampa Buddhist Meditation Center in Westlake in California introduced me to the book called " You are the placebo" by Dr. Joe Dispenza for the first time. She and I had attended Abraham Hicks workshop and Kadampa Buddhist meditation lectures together before. I had always felt she had been my compatible vibrational companionship. When she introduced me to this book, I right away downloaded it from Amazon audible . I started listening to it a couple of months later. Meanwhile, I watched his YouTube videos and other media to understand some of his background, logic, and concepts before reading the book. What I found fascinating about this book was the style of meditation he had developed. He wrote that he had studied yoga and martial arts in his early twenties. Perhaps because of this, his meditation style incorporates the breathing techniques used in Kundalini Yoga. I want to talk about the Kundalini here briefly. First of all, I would like to talk about the origin of the word "Kundalini and Kundalini awakening. Kundalini is a term used in the Hindu tradition to refer to the primordial life energy that is said to reside within the human body. Kundalini is the human body's name for prana, the primordial energy that permeates the universe and is also called shakti. Awakening the Kundalini could bring mystical experiences, and when fully awakened, it is believed to lead to soul liberation. It is my personal belief that through the practice of yoga and meditation, the kundalini energy gradually becomes active and rises towards the top of the head. When the Sahasrara (the top energy center of the head) is finally pushed open by this kundalini energy, it becomes kundalini awakening. When the Sahasrara is fully opened, it is said that the person can be soul liberated. I have noticed that is often the case of people with near-death experiences (NDEs). Dr. Dispenza has incorporated into the meditations utilized the method that emphasizes breathing, Mula Bandha, which is the tightening of the anus and lower abdomen, and Kumbhaka (resting breath). When I was studying Kundalini in my twenties, I met a person in a healing circle meeting by Dr.Bernie S. Siegel. She had become sick because she meditated using this breathing technique. She developed brain cancer, and it was due to her lighthearted practice of this breathing technique. I had forgotten she mentioned the cause of cancer by Kundalini breathing, so I did some Googling. This symptom is called Physiological Kundalini Syndrome (PKS for short). This is a condition in which a person develops a variety of pleasant and unpleasant symptoms because their Kundalini has been awakened to some extent, either intentionally or by accident, while they are not spiritually, mentally, or physically ready. Research is being conducted in the field of psychiatry, but because research is still in progress and scientific and objective evidence is lacking, and different researchers have different ideas. Examples of symptoms include autonomic imbalance caused by an outburst of the sympathetic nervous system in the autonomic nervous system, blissful ecstasy, intense pulsation throughout the body, increased pulse rate and high blood pressure, migraine headaches, acute or chronic fatigue, increased or decreased libido, schizophrenic symptoms, visual and auditory hallucinations, depression, and neurosis. Some people claim that it can cause near-death experiences, floating in the air, cerebral hemorrhage, paralysis, and suicide. So far, I don't think I've had any of these symptoms. (Even if I have them, I may not even be aware of it🤣) However, I had visions of my past lives, and I've learned that who I am in a body in this world is consciousness (energy), and my body is just a shell. Therefore, I always feel as if I am looking at the body that encloses my consciousness from the outside in. I have become aware that even the smallest and most trivial things move me in bliss. I feel very fresh every day, like a newborn, and deeply aware of the preciousness of all life on this planet. It's been nine months since I seriously started meditating with Joe Dispenza, mostly led by his visualization words ( imagination). Once you get used to it, it's easy to go deeper. I hadn't done much visualization meditation before, so it took me a while to get used to it. Another feature is that the time of practice is long. The shortest meditation is about 20 minutes. My current favorite one, "Blessing of the Energy Centers," is about 45 minutes long. In the next blog, I would like to share what led him to research and study to develop the miraculous healing methods to cure incurable cancers, MS (Multiple Sclerosis), autoimmune diseases, and many more!!

Daily meditation practice save my day !!

Daily meditation practice save my day !!

I started meditations by Dr. Joe Dispeza last June 2020. I have experimented with many meditation techniques in the past. I had tried Jose Silva, Monroe Institute, Wayne Dyer, Louis Hays, Abraham Hicks and traditional yoga meditations. Although I had tremendous benefits from these meditation techniques from them in the last 30 years, nothing has ever worked as effectively as Dr. Joe Dispenza's meditations. His meditation formula is pretty scientific, especially incorporating Kundalini breathing techniques to awakening eight body energy centers (called chakras in yoga) by kundalini breath, has well-practiced in yogi. I have researched an origination of Kundalini, and here is what I gathered. Although Kundalini yoga is practiced around the world, its origin is unknown. The concept of Kundalini energy has been around for centuries and was mentioned in ancient Vedic texts from 1,000 B.C. Kundalini yoga is most associated with Yogi Bhajan, a yoga teacher from Pakistan. He's credited with introducing the practice to Western countries in the 1960s. The term "Kundalini" comes from the Sanskrit word "kundal," which means "circular." It also refers to a coiled snake. And according to practitioners, Kundalini energy is like that coiled snake: It sits at the base of your spine, sleeping and unaroused. Kundalini yoga is practiced to activate this energy, which allows it to move up and through the chakras along your spine. In yoga, chakras (I refer this to Energy Centers) are the seven energy centers in your body. They include: root chakra sacral chakra naval, or solar plexus, chakra heart chakra throat chakra third eye chakra crown chakra As Kundalini energy rises, it's believed to help balance these chakras and contribute to your spiritual wellness. With regular practice, Kundalini yoga is said to lead to spiritual enlightenment. It is called a "Kundalini awakening. " When awakened, Kundalini is described as rising up from the muladharachakra, through the central nadi (called sushumna) inside or alongside the spine reaching the top of the head. The progress of Kundalini through the different chakras is believed to achieve different levels of awakening and a mystical experience, until Kundalini finally reaches the top of the head, Sahasrara or crown chakra, producing an extremely profound transformation of consciousness. Dr. Joe Dispenza has many meditation series introduced, and they are available free from YouTube and purchase available from his website, drjoedispenza.com. I will share one of his meditations called "The blessing of the energy centers" This meditation incorporates the short practice of his breathing techniques and guided meditations to open up each energy center. According to Joe, each energy center in our body is under the control of the autonomic nervous system (autonomic meaning automatic), and each center has its own energetic frequency, carries its own message, has its own intent, and possesses its own consciousness. Essentially, each center is like a mini, individual brain Because each center is under the control of the autonomic nervous system, each center has its own glands, and glands secrete chemicals and hormones. The role of hormones is to harmonize the body. When done correctly, this process creates syntropy (the tendency towards energy concentration, order, organization, and life) and coherence in each one of those centers. As you create ordered patterns of energy in each of those centers, that's information each organ, tissue, and cell can draw from. This teaching is one of the best ways to create order, harmony, health, and balance in your life, both within and without. I love this meditation because it helps me to relax and open up my heart center and feel the joy of life in this body with great gratitude towards everything and everyone. I practice mediations 1-2 hours daily. I found it most effective when I practiced them really early in the morning, between 3 am-6 am. I have learned in the past that our brainwave tends to stay between alpha and theta frequencies during the night. During the brainwave frequencies, the body is very relaxed, and the mind is in a hypnotic state. There are many testimonials by Dr. Joe Dispenza's students who had mystical experiences during his meditation practices and consciousness shift and awakening. Many of the testimonials are made by people who had done his meditations and taken workshops, who have recovered from serious health disorders and diseases such as M.S. (multiple sclerosis), Parkinson, Terminal cancers, autoimmune disease, severe allergies, depression, PTSD, and on. I hope you would give it a try along with your daily meditation and see if it enhances more clarity in your daily life!! 😀
